Best Practices for Handling Real-Time, High-Volume Data Streams?
Hello Connecteam Developers,
Our team is designing a custom dashboard to display real-time operational metrics gathered through various Connecteam webhooks (e.g., job completion, status changes). We anticipate that during peak usage hours, we'll be receiving data streams that could involve hundreds of updates per minute.
Our current plan is to use WebSockets to push data to the client, but we're concerned about client-side performance and browser lag when rendering rapid updates to graphs and tables.
What are Connecteam's recommended data visualization strategies or best practices for filtering, aggregating, or throttling high-volume, real-time webhook data before it's displayed to end-users?
Are there specific data structures or client-side libraries that handle this kind of velocity particularly well when integrating with your platform?
